The barefoot goddess Ammara Brown who had a show which was intended to launch the ‘Ammartia Ignite SADC Tour’ has been postponed due to the cholera outbreak in Zimbabwe which has claimed the lives of over 30 people.
The show was scheduled for the 28th of September at HICC. It was going to be a terrific show indeed as we were going to see the first Zim performance of West African Afro Pop star Mr Eazi. It wasn’t going to be terrific of because of Mr Eazi only, it’s the local line-up which really had me rallying behind it, the list consisted of ExQ, Takura and Tamy Moyo.
The not so a debacle comes after the Ministry of Health and Zimbabwe Republic Police banned all public gatherings in aim to try and prevent the spreading of cholera which has caused quite a predicament.
Ammara’s management said the Harare show will now be on the 30th of November. The fans who had already bought tickets will still be able to use them on the 30th of November.
“Ammartia, l know how much you were looking forward to this, but your health and safety have to come first for me. True love is selfless and l do love you. Let’s stay as safe as possible, be mindful and protect our nation. We are working with God’s plan and The Almighty will help all things fall into place. Ammartia will only ignite with you,” said Ammara Brown.
The Ammartia Ignite Tour will still continue, beginning with Malawi on October 26th.
