Artist Review| Dancehall Artist Fruitman A.K.A Baba Lili

On our today’s review we have Elton Chikwenenge a dancehall artist aged 26, well known as Fruitman A.K.A Baba Lili. Because of the passion he had for music, he started his musical journey in 2014, he was inspired by Killer T.
The challenges he is facing day to day as an artist are a lot. He thinks something must be done, in order to help artists, especially upcoming artists in the industry to get more exposure, and get airplay on our local radio stations.
Fruitman has worked with Power Rasta on a single, and he has also managed to feature in some of Zim Dancehall’s big events like; Kinna’s Birthday Bash @ Stordat Hall, Ghetto vs Ghetto Clash @ Glamis Arena, Zim Dancehall Showcase Carnival @ Glamis Arena, just to mention a few. He has also managed to share the stage with Jah Signal, Dadza D, Kinna, Soul Jah Love, Winky D and many more.
Currently Fruitman is working on his new album titled “NHAMO BYE BYE (GOOD BYE POVERTY)”, this album carries 12 tracks and is expected to be released end of October.
He gives this word of encouragement to his fellow artists, “To my fellow artists, I encourage you to work extra hard and never to give up on your dreams.”
