Double Jae Drops ‘One Asara ‘
I’ve been searching for new music and I got something from MonkeyBznz’s Double Jae and the song is something else but its what I been saying all this time, this is what Zimhiphop needs. Double Jae Da Lyricist must be one of the very few who has the lines and the delivery that makes a song to be on repeat on your playlist all day. His slow dragging delivery makes you vibe with the flow and even the pauses work well to expose every line that you can clearly hear what his saying and I think in Zimbabwe with all the complaints people saying they can’t hear anything these hiphop artists are rapping about Double Jae must be bridging that gap and that’s what Zimhiphop needs right now, music thats relatable, lyrics that are factual and just enjoyable.
I’murging other rappers and producers to find that which Zimbos love to hear as did sungura, dancehall, Urban grooves so that we too can be considered a dominant genre in time. One Asara is a saying you hear everyday from wherever part of the country you are the conductors use it to find passengers fast and basically on this song Double Jae is saying im the last one, you have been waiting for me this year and now i’m here and you can go nowhere without me and every single line of this song is a quotable one and its Zim relatable making him really a one line bar after bar king to me cause I don’t see anyone doing what his doing. I would like to hear a project from him now and see how well he does but for now im going to look into his other singles and other MonkeyBznz projects. One Asara is for now one of my favourite songs this year and one of the songs we should be hearing in the combies and if he continues like this his going to be amongst the Tulk Munny, Gze, T.Gonzi catergory. Last year I followed the progress of Jae and was impressed by his work and I couldn’t wait to hear what he had instore for 2018 as last year Double Jae had set a trend and this year his following suit by this new single. It has bars after bars after bars and what I like about it is that Jae is not being humble with it, he is one of the best at what his doing. There are so many quotable lines from ‘This year kunge ndirikuba i’m still (steal) the man’ to ‘This is my year chasara kuchinja calender’ you have to check it out and also comment with your favourite lines from the song.
