Shaquille’s Single ‘Qhaphela’ Review

Upcoming rapper Shaquille Munashe Chitonho 20, from the streets of Norton in Harare has just recently released a single titled ‘Qhaphela’.
‘Qhaphela’ is an IsiNdebhele word and it means ‘Beware’.
Shaquille’s brand new single is technically stunning and emotionally relatable. It life in a new outré, rhythmic trap galaxy that honours but outpaces its peers. ‘Qaphela’ is a new song that goes harder than ever.
The dubstep injected hard African trap production style will likely get you all juiced up and ready to rage.The single track is just as trippy and mystifying as you would expect.This track is just one of many we will see on Shaquille’s forthcoming E.P ‘Gone Too Far’.
Shaquille is a vivacious singer-songwriter with unabashed enthusiasm for catchy lyrics and danceable tunes.
Shaquille is set to drop his Extended Play (E.P.) sometime this year, and already he has affirmed that 4 music videos for the E.P are on the way just after it drops. The E.P is going to be compiled of 10 tracks and 3 features only. The producers who worked in the E.P are Victor Enlisted,Tay Beats, Q Bar, Success The Beat Maker, Sly Munandi Records and Flvcko Naet Stevens.
‘Qhaphela’ was produced by Victor Enlisted. Shaquille said the struggle he faces,the negative advices he was given by people,and what he experiences as an artist since day 1, and how girls never wanted to associate with him inspired him to write/compose the track ‘Qhaphela’. He says especially now people want to associate with him ,girls now keep calling on a daily basis and people who didnt like him, but now act like they are friends are also the personal issues that inspired the track.
“My music journey was never an easy one, it took me sweat and tears to be where i am, a lot of sacrifices were made. I remember i used to walk a very long distance to get to my studio just to record my song.”
“If only possible l could get a promoter that will boost my career and help me finacially, so l can increase the amount of my songs and videos.” Said Shaquille.
Currently he is not signed but he is under ZikuTsotsi Movement its an affiliation were they help each other to push music.
