Dj Steers ‘Blessings’ Album Review

Gweru upcoming hip hop artist Austin Kudzaishe Mandlokuwa aka has just recently released his 11 track album titled ‘Blessings’

 

Austin started music in 2015 and managed to release a lot of singles and work on projects with local producers and artists which include Flizzy Breezy, Dj Khulekan,Inno B,Ikan, Dj Smart and many other.

 

In 2017 June he had quite a breakthrough in his musical journey as he started working on his album ‘Blessings’. He managed to get in touch with one of the best vocalist from Ghana, Petrah. He spoke with the manager and they were able to work on a track titled ‘Blessings’.

 

I had to do a review on this album, track by track, so below is what each track talks about respectively.

 

1. JESUS SAVES

 

Well this track is talking about how he was saved from being an addict. Most people out there are drug addicts and all that, because they lack inspiration. They lack the need to do better and he was saved through music.

 

2. ALONE

 

It expresses all his victories with his family and mostly his mom who managed to do it all alone though it was hard to survive but they managed to all grow up healthy and well disciplined by a single parent.

 

3. I KNOW FT HOLY TEN

 

This is just a warning out there. A message sent to the haters out there to inform them that we know all their wishes and we ready for whatever is coming.

 

4. BLESSINGS FT PETRAH

 

He is telling the people how all the struggles and pain turned into blesssings as he was so patient hoping for the best.

 

5. MASLAYER AGRADUATOR

 

Slay Kings and Queens also got brains. They work overnight and act all cool during the day so do not be distracted.

 

6. BLOWING UP

 

Through it all he is managing to overcome all the tests and trials and still going up though he started from the bottom but he is still going strong.

 

7. FAR AWAY FT C-BRAYN

 

Talks about a girl who was bothered by everyone sorrounding her and looked down upon her. So he is telling her let us go away from all the negative energy, to a place that is peaceful and full of love.

 

8. TAKE IT EASY

 

This is the message for the youth of today. Who are tired of excuses and limitations from the environment and all other barriers. He is telling them to calm down and be patient.

 

9. PARTY FT THE THRILL & KIMMIE

 

This is a dance and joyful song. In times of celebrations

 

 

10. FLEX FT IZZY E & CASTOR

 

Love should be unconditional but however some girls love you with conditions. Only when they realise you are on the spotlight, it usually happens to successful and all other famous people thats when they try to be so close to you.

 

11. THE LITTLE THINGS FT SIAH HOT

 

In life generally and love life to be specific there are those little things that express love and gratitude but most of the people prefer the big things so the question is, If we remove the little things and everything else how would it feel?.

 

 

The album is just a must have masterpiece, it consists of sorts of emotions we bear and relate to as humans.
