Ris Monteez – Wake Up Review

Ris Monteez was born Tatenda Muzah, he is aged 20 and is an upcoming rapper from Waterfalls, Harare .
He started his musical journey when he was still in high school at Churchill High School. He has quite a number of track to his name, but recently he released his single track titled ‘Wake Up’.
‘Wake Up’ was produced by Jizzboi at Black Stallion Studios in Chitungwiza.
“Im a fan of trap music and a big follower of Migos, so l did that song to capture the attention of trap lovers. The song has a rap vibe in it also, so basically its a trap rap type of a song. I wrote the song in January and recorded it mid September and it was published on the 1st of October this year,” said Ris.
Currently, he has just finished working on an E.P titled ‘God Bless The Kid’. And it is made up of 8 tracks but its not yet officially released on any social music platform. And he is also working on a couple of singles, which are titled Jealousy, Bubble Dance, Desperately which features Carleman from UK and I Didn’t Know which features Ryne Scenic from South Africa.
