By CtO Banks
Award winning dancer and choreographer John Cole has released the video to his latest house track which features female rapper and singer Ashta Eez.
John’s new single is titled XheXhe, and its a follow up to his smash hit ‘Skoro Skoro’, which features Lee Mchoney. The song did amazingly well, and stayed on local radio charts for a while.
The track was produced by Dj Tamuka, and the song was written by DjTamuka and John Cole. The video was shot at a very cosy and classy restaurant in harare at number 40 Cork Road, it’s open for all types of events big and small and they are thankful to the management for allowing them to shoot there plus providing them with some amazing food.
“As you know a lot of my work is dance based and part of my ep titled ‘Color Of Dance’. I honestly can’t explain how some of these things happen but I know you put me in a studio and a good producer fire is all you get. The Xhexhe video or all Jonh’s personal videos are really something new in Zim, especially this side of the country (Mashonaland), which isn’t dominated by house music, the Xhexhe video in particular is a fun video, what l mean is you can watch it over and over again, l love the dances, they can really trend this time of the year, they new, they fresh. In the video Ashta is looking beautiful as usual and giving that lovely attitude as she sings her lyrics.
I believe John Cole is leaving a mark with his style of music, dances and the videos.
“Mainly I am the director for all my videos i have a vision however this vision does work with a good director, I worked with Charlie aka Chuck of the most highly sought after production house in Zimbabwe Invision Studios and no lie he is an amazing director so let’s just say we worked hand in hand beautifully.
That will be yours, when it comes to themes and concepts that’s my Jam cause I know what we give to the people and what is needed also one of my key credits is directorship and choreographer motion which I take seriously.
One of the main highlights of the set special thanks to Ruolay Agency for providing the lights and glow in the dark decor courtesy of the amazing Ruth.
Make by Cindy Munyavi of Make Up 263 and Rutendo Njanike Of Eylsian Butterfly,” he added.
With all being said l have to do the most hard of doing ratings, that’s actually giving a rating on a scale of 1-10, and this video l give it a
