Female hip hop sensation Tiffany Ruvarashe Mudavanhu also known as Tiff Cake has just recently dropped a video for her single titled ‘Sauce’. The singer/rapper has released a couple of songs since she came in the music industry in 2016, some include ‘Never Gonna Drop’ and ‘Pretty in Zim’.
The singer revealed that, her stage name is a combination of her first name and her open book character and this came from her exotic background of living in both Zimbabwe and Botswana.
The ‘Never Gonna Drop’ singer has worked with hip hop artists like Kaydee and Dj Themba. Tiffcake has also done commercial modeling and marketing for clothing lines like Victaks, she has worked with Mel B, HKD’s Daruler to mention but a few.
The ‘Sauce’ hitmaker has gained support and popularity from Hip Hop Basement Power Fm, Ya Fm Zvishavane, Midlands Fm which have played her singles nationwide and she featured on Queens of Hip Hop Vol 3. Tiffany has also been associated with the Zimbabwean media as she has had interviews with Women in Music, Dj Blesh on Midlands Fm and Dj Tin Tin on Zi Fm.
Speaking to this reporter Tiffany revealed that she is inspired mostly by her mom and female fans and aims at empowering women. Well, this is hard to deny as her lyrical content on most of her work is all about ‘ladies owning it’.
Tiff Cake is working on her first show, which will be held in April in the City of Kings Bulawayo and also currently working on an EP which is quite different from an Album. To further her career as a hip hop artist Tiffcake said, “In the future, I would want to work with popular individuals such as Winky D, Ammara Brown and internationally Nasty C and take hip hop to another level”.
