Born Keith Mudambana, but later on attained the name ‘Scrip Mula’. Scrip Mula came onto the scene in 2016 with a track which was titled ‘Christopher Columbus’, and it was on high rotation on all local radio stations, and it stayed on Power Fm radio charts for weeks.
The same year we saw him dropping the video for ‘Inyanga’ which was a follow up to the video of ‘Christopher Columbus’ which he had dropped earlier on. The ‘Inyanga,’ video went on to get nominated for Best Video at the Zim Hip Hop Awards.
In the period of 2017 and 2018 Scrip Mula sort of took a back seat as a solo artist and saw him dropping EPs (Extended Play), together with his group MulaNation Group, which was a good move as it saw the collective getting nominated for Best Group at the Zim Hip Hop Awards 17/18 and winning in 2018 the same year that they were nominated for video of the year.
Scrip Mula’s forthcoming album is titled ‘Scripian.’ It is the rapper’s first compiled project debut after three years of dropping singles. The album ‘s beat production was mostly done by Scrip Mula with only one exception by Mclyne Beats however the mixing and mastering was done by some of the best producers of our generation including Fun F , Rayo Beats , Jamal and Rodney Military Touch . People can look forward to features from some of the most influential rappers now such as Asaph of the Mambo fame , R Peels , Gze to mention a few . This project ‘ s inspiration varies from day to day lives of most Zimbabweans here and abroad as well Scrip Mula ‘ s hunger and dream to succeed not only as a rapper but also as a young entrepreneur .
Scripian album is likely going to be one of the projects of 2019 and Scrip is also promising to drop fire videos which one of the things he is best known for .
