Zimbabwean Artist Sha-Sha Gets Nominated For A BET Award 2020

South African based Zimbabwean artist ShaSha real name Charmaine Mapimbiro has been nominated for a BET Awards 2020 Best New International Act category.

She broke the news last night on twitter. ShaSha began her career in her home village of Mutare in Zimbabwe in 2014 but has since served as a background singer and featured vocalist for trending Zimbabwean and South African musicians.

Mapimbiro gained prominence as the mesmerising voice behind the current hit song Akulaleki by Samthing Soweto, Nge Thanda Wena by Mlindo The Vocalist and Scorpion Kings’ song We Mama.

ShaSha is nominated alongside Dumebi hitmaker Rema, Celeste, Doh Rush hitmakers Young T and Bugsey, Hatik and Stacy.
